The hot tub can take up to 8 hours to heat to temperature, whilst we strive to have the pool ready for use, during our peak times and school holidays it may not have time to reach its temperature before you check in. We do not offer a mid-stay pool clean.

The popular costal town of Bude with its endless coastline of beautiful beaches, bustling streets, quaint cafes and wealth of restaurants is just 5 miles away. The Paddock is bright and spacious, thoughtfully designed around family life whilst equally welcoming to couples wanting to escape busy life. You'll find more info on the property on our website. ** During the month of July/August 2026 the communal driveway to the Paddock is due to be re-tarmac, during this work, cars will not be able to access the private drive of the property for 2 days so cars will be required to park just outside the gates to the courtyard, dates for the work are TBC and enough notice as possible will be given if this affects your booking **

No 1 The paddock is ideally situated in a private gated courtyard shared with just a handful of properties,. The peaceful village of Kilkhampton is just a short walk away, here you’ll find the post office, 2 pubs and a range of convenience stores and take aways. Pride of place is the Beautiful St James Church. The stunning beaches of Sandymouth, Crooklets, Summerleaze and Widemouth Bay are just a stones throw from the Paddock, watching the sun set at Widemouth Bay is simply stunning or just a few minutes down the coast at Summerleaze or Crooklets you’ll find an expanse of golden sand and rock pools to explore, there’s even a sea pool if your fancy taking a refreshing dip. A fun filled day out at Tamar Lakes is just 3 miles from the Paddock, here you’ll find a range of water activities to enjoy. If you’re travelling with young family there is a huge soft play centre within the bowling alley in Bude.
