Number 19 is a beautiful Victorian town house situated on one of the most popular streets in Clitheroe, with the impressive Saint Marys Church with its Gothic Revival architecture standing in an elevated position at the top of the street. The house is centrally located with everything within easy walking distance, including the bus and train stations. The furnishings and décor reflect the era of the property with many original Victorian pieces. The property was previously owned by the same family for the past 100 years and we have sympathetically updated the facilities. The bathroom suite was one of the first in the street to be installed during the 1950's and is in such remarkably good condition it deserved to be left in situ. We have only added the shower and tiles. Clitheroe is in the amazing Ribble Valley and is just as beautiful as the Lakes without any of the crowds. The nearby Forest of Bowland is a designated “Area of Natural Beauty”. Try hiking Pendle Hill or mountain biking through Gisburn Forest or learn to ride a trial bike. Our area is also fast gaining a serious reputation for our exceptional quality of food, offerings spanning from takeaways to Michelin Stars.
We hope you will enjoy staying at Number 19 as much as we have enjoyed working to bring it to the standard we wanted. We really want you to have a good experiance and we will always be only a phone call away.
