Welcome to Nyhavn, our lovely pet friendly New England style lodge situated within the gated Windrush & Isis holiday cottage complex in the Cotswold Lakes area. Set in secure and well landscaped surroundings overlooking Isis Lake. It has an excellent range of on-site facilities and activities suitable for all ages. It is the ideal location to relax and unwind. Our light and airy lakeside lodge can sleep up to 4 people (plus 1 infant) in 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. We welcome up to two dogs too. A comfortable and spacious open plan kitchen/dining and living area leads to furnished decking area with gas BBQ overlooking the carp fishing lake and gardens. A great place to relax and enjoy a morning coffee by the lake to watch the abundant wildlife and spectacular sunrises. Living Area - Spacious comfortable living area with two sofas with Flat-screen TV / DVD Player & library of DVDs. There is good WiFi. Selection of books, board games & puzzles available too. Cupboard with ironing board, dryer, stairgate, highchair. Kitchen & Dining Area - Fully equipped kitchen with dining table adjacent seating up to 6 people. Kitchen has an oven/grill/hobtop, microwave, fridge freezer / dishwasher / washing machine & tumble dryer.Bedrooms & Bathrooms: - 1 x Master double with Juliet balcony & lake view. 2 x single bedrooms. 1 x family bathroom - walk in shower & WC. Downstairs bathroom – shower / WC. Plenty of storage space, towels, all bedding & hairdryer provided. Cot provided (please bring your own cot linen). Decking & Outside Area - Lovely lakeside balcony decking area, well equipped and furnished with outside furniture for ‘al fresco’ dining. Gas barbecue & BBQ tools. Nyhavn Lodge is fully equipped and has WiFi, TV, DVD player, books, board games, tennis rackets, boule set etc.There is excellent coarse fishing on Windrush Lake, carp fishing on Isis Lake and trout fishing on-site. Great selection of pubs, bars, restaurants & café’s all within walking distance or a short drive away

I know this area very well and enjoy walking the dogs down to the village pub, round the nearby lakes and alongside the local canal. I enjoy meeting all of our guests and helping them enjoy the best of our lovely lakeland area. If you would like any personal recommendations on where to eat out, best pubs, explore, best watersports, go walking or play golf, we can help. Isis & Windrush Lakes offer excellent carp and trout fishing. Canoeing and kayaking is available on Windrush Lake. A wide range of water sports and many superb activities are available locally within the Cotswold Lakes area, some within walking distance. The nearby De Vere Cotswold Water Park Hotel also has a spa, gym and Boathouse restaurant. There are some further excellent restaurants, cafes and village pubs nearby too, many within walking distance of our cottage. Isis & Windrush Lakes are located within the Cotswold Lakes which is an area of natural beauty comprising over 180 lakes spread across 42 square miles. It offers a unique destination for everyone, from nature lovers to those who love recreation, watersports and adventure. It is also ideal for those seeking a peaceful and relaxing escape. With many safe cycle trails and well marked footpaths you can head out and explore the abundant lakes, canals, nature reserves and rivers nearby. Bike hire is also available locally. Enjoy a host of water sport activities at the neighbouring lake 5 mins walk from the lodge. Visit Rox : The Real Outdoor Xperience for the full range of bookable activities & watersports.
