My property is a 1850s converted thrashing barn . I bought it when it was derelict and got planning permission to live and work there in 2002 . It is a brick and Flint building typical of this area of Dorset . It is very secluded, quiet and peaceful There is a large secure parking area 1/4 mile from a quiet country lane. The parking can be seen from the bedrooms and has security lights and is on gravel

Higher Ansty is a little Hamlet with about 20 houses. Pleck Barn is on the outskirts . It is very rural here , there is no light pollution or road noise
