Plum Braes Barn Holidays has been established for 25 years. The three properties are located on an organic farm and were converted from a barn, all with lovely views. There are 4 part time staff and owners Archie & Maggie Stewart or staff are on hand if needed.

Property info

Plum Tree is a hidden gem on an organic farm in a quiet corner of the Scottish Borders just 3 miles from Kelso and handy for touring Northumberland. Plum Tree has a small double bedroom with king size brand new divan, super comfortable and reached spiral stairs leading from the open plan sitting room/dining area and galley kitchen. Sunny south facing cottage with wonderful views, walks and space. Plum Tree is very cosy with bio mass wood chip heating and also a wood burning stove and there is a pile of logs so help yourselves at no charge. There is a south facing patio with wonderful views over the Tweed valley and the Cheviot Hills on the horizon. Enjoy walks over Cliftonhill, our organic farm, enjoying river and woodland walks. The coast is half an hours drive and Alnwick and Holy Island about 45 minutes drive through wonderful countryside. Kelso is a bustling market town with unique and special shops, fishing tackle shops, cafes, Abbey, Floors Castle many stately homes and lovely Border towns.
