This comfortable, modern ground floor apartment is a hidden gem and is just a 5 minute walk to everything Swanage town centre and beach has to offer. Private access brings you to the entrance. Once you walk into the spacious lounge you are immediately drawn through the kitchen to the spectacular view of the Purbeck hills across the roof tops of Swanage. The decking area in the private garden offers a sheltered sun trap where you can relax on the sofa and enjoy a cold drink. The cosy master bedroom has a comfy king size bed with plenty of space and rear garden views. The freshly painted twin second bedroom is light and airy and both bedrooms share the bathroom situated in between. Thoughtfully arranged quiet space with all the equipment and facilities you need, Purbeck Hill View has been designed to make your stay a stress free relaxing experience. You access the property by going down the metal stairs at the front of the main building to Purbeck Hill View Flat 1 front door (see photos). Dogs are welcome for a small extra fee.

I am a Pilates teacher, I love the sea and walking around Swanage by the seaside. I’m married with a family of two teenage girls. I love Swanage because is a lovely place to take dogs for walks, go for swims at either Swanage or Studland beach. The pubs and restaurants are great in Swanage, lots to eat and places to explore. Situated on the High Street and just outside the main centre of Swanage town, the location of Purbeck Hill View has the best of both worlds. Walkers will enjoy access directly onto Priest’s Way and the South West Coast Path and shoppers will love just how many independent shops, cafes and restaurants there are in the town centre. The beautiful sandy beaches of Swanage are just a 7 minute walk away. The best Chinese takeaway is just across the road, the highly reputable Black Swan pub is a 2 minute walk away (top tip - book ahead) and Arkwrights Spar convenience store is just a 3 minute walk away on the High Street. Swanage Railway can be seen and heard from the rear garden (definitely worth a day out to Corfe Castle on the steam train) there’s the 50 Breezer bus to Studland and Old Harry Rocks (and The Bankes Arms and The Pig Hotel) or travel further on to Bournemouth via the chain ferry. Take a walk up to Durlston Country Park and enjoy the views from there, see if you can spot the dolphins! There’s so much to do here we can’t possibly list it all, so the best thing to do is get booked in and start planning for a trip full of adventures.
