Welcome to The Haven. Relax with the family at this peaceful place to stay. A perfect location for walking the South West Coast path. Bude to Crackington then Crackington to Boscastle or Tintagel. Local bus services make these walks one way. There is so much to do in the area and great eateries . This is a modern, well equipped 2 bedroom, detached annexe with views across the countryside out to the coast and even to Lundy Island on a clear day. On-site lake for coarse fishing. Bring your own gear and please use barbless hooks. Downstairs is the entrance hallway, shower room with toilet and sink, open plan Kitchenette/diner/lounge with views across the countryside. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and the other can be configured as twin single beds or joined to become a Super-King bed. Please state your preference when booking. Both bedrooms have a Velux Cabrio balcony that allows stunning views across the countryside out to the sea and even to Lundy island on a clear day. There is room to pitch a tent for additional guests in the upper paddock. or we can supply a camp bed. Or why not book our Gypsy caravan situated close by plus we have 2 lakeside shepherds huts - all listed with Airbnb. Outside there is raised deck with table and chairs for al fresco dining with views across the countryside. A charcoal BBQ is provided that is ready to cook in 3 minutes! Bring your own gear and try your hand at fishing for carp, tench and perch in our lake in the lower paddock. Barbless hooks please and no keep nets. Or perhaps you would like to use the rowing boat. Life jackets are supplied and must be worn.

Quiet countryside area yet less than 2 miles from the beach. Bus stop just up the road outside the Hentervene Holiday Park. Free parking on site. Crackington Haven beach is less than 2 miles away. A 20 minute walk down but 30 minute walk back up! The beach is suited for families with its sandy areas, rock pools, surfing when the waves are up, kayaking etc. The Coombe Barton Inn serves great freshly prepared food and the 2 beach cafes both serve delicious local and freshly homemade light lunches and snacks. Numerous footpaths are within the parish. Check out the iwalk app for more info. We are centrally sited for visits to Widemouth Bay, Bude, Clovelly, Hartland to the north, Boscastle, St. Nectans Glen, Tintagel, Port Isaac, Polzeath, Padstow to the south. Explore Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor for a change of scenery . Further afield The Eden Project, Newquay, Plymouth and Exeter are all worth a day trip visit.
