This is our smartly furnished self contained ground floor flat expecting families of 4 who come for the nearby beach. We live in the family home above so there is always someone on hand to answer questions or assist with requests. We will give you as much privacy as we can but you may see us in the shared garden or on our balcony and it is likely you will hear movement from time to time. Private lock box entrance and off road parking on a shared driveway. Our property is on the front row of houses facing the beach. Leave the apartment via a private gate in the back garden to the beach path 140m across the common and you are on the beautiful beach. Rest Bay is a large sandy beach famous for surfing with rock pools and pebbles around the edge.The coastal path walk in both directions is spectacular. 20 minutes walk along the promenade to the town of Porthcawl. Royal Porthcawl Golf Course is a 5 minute walk away. There is currently a Hikitalo Sauna at Rest Bay 0.2 Km away. We live in the house upstairs so can provide items such as an Ironing Board or a Babies Cot on request. Additional Cooker or Freezer available for longer stays if pre arranged. We live in a quiet area away from traffic but as we live upstairs you may hear us during the day, you will hear the sea especially on stormy nights. By all means request an earlier check in or a later check out but our place is thoroughly cleaned between stays so we can not guarantee an early check in if there are additional cleaning requirements. Likewise we may be able to help with lifts from the Railway Station at Pyle if pre agreed.

Myself and my wife Joanna have travelled around the world staying at Airbnbs now it is our turn to host with our smarty furnished self contained ground floor flat located below our first floor home. Your holiday will be private with no need to meet us but if you like to get to know your hosts or need anything let us know. You will often see us in the garden as you walk through our back gate to the beach path. Rest Bay beach is a 2 minute walk. Sandy Bay at Porthcawl is a 25 minute walk.

First line of houses separated from the sea/beach by an area of common grassland, shared path from beach to private garden gate. Quiet residential street, close by shop, pub and chip shop. Beach cafe behind large sandy beach patrolled by lifeguards in summer months. Surf shop and surf school with board and wetsuit hire available. Walking distance to Royal Porthcawl Golf Club. Coastal path westwards several miles of spectacular walking behind the many different beaches. Promenade eastwards to Porthcawl town with shops, bars and restaurants. Designated space on off road driveway. Promenade to Porthcawl foot and bicycle safe. Nearby bus stop at end of the Road. Mainline railway station at Pyle 4 miles away.
