This duplex apartment is set over the ground and first floor and consists of an open-plan living space with a kitchen with electric oven, halogen hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, dining seating for size and a sitting area with TV. The bedrooms consist of a king-size with TV, balcony and en-suite shower, a double with a balcony and a twin with a balcony, along with a bathroom and cloakroom. Electric heating and electric immersion heater for hot water. Outside, there is a private patio, communal garden area and designated parking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Highchair and travel cot available. Sorry, no pets and no smoking allowed. Within 2.2 miles there is a shop and within 0.6 miles, a pub. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is from 10am. Rivers Edge makes a wonderful escape to the Lake District. Please Note: There is a Good Housekeeping Bond of 150 applicable to this property

Newby Bridge, a small settlement on the banks of the River Leven, is named after a five-arched stone bridge built in 1651. Between Haverthwaite and Newby Bridge, the famed Furness Railway, one of Britain's oldest working standard gauge steam railways, operates. Visit the Lakeside Hotels for spectacular views of Windermere and the surrounding fells, or visit the Aquarium of the Lakes to learn about the history of the Lakes through organically designed habitats. Bowness-on-Windermere is a beautiful day trip, and the quaint village of Hawkshead still has the charm and character that endeared it to its most famous residents - William Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter.
