Outside, the front garden is a perfect place to soak up the scenery with the sound of the river nearby. Riverside Cottage lies on the southern edge of the Cairngorms National Park . A treasure trove of hiking, wildlife and spectacular scenery awaits – the wilds and mountains around Blair Atholl and Pitlochry offer fantastic walking and to the west the breathtaking views of Strath Tummel give way to the wilderness of Rannoch. The village itself has shops, a lovely tearoom, Atholl Arms Hotel serving bar meals all a short walk from the cottage. The magnificent Blair Castle is nearby.
