Riverside Hideaway is a quirky above our garage conversion. It is Modern with a light, fresh feel. Located up a short track on the bank of the River Spey. Watching the Ospreys, hundreds of miles of forest tracks and cycle ways to explore, snow sports in the Cairngorms, paddling to Loch Insh or down the Spey the options are endless. It’s quiet, peaceful and relaxing but with excitement and exhilaration of outdoor pursuits all around.

To allow flexibility for your arrival there is a Key safe at the door of this property. We like to leave our guests in peace during their stay but should you require us we only live next door.

Riverside Hideaway is in the small village of Kincraig which is nestled midway between Aviemore and Kingussie. Located on the road to Loch Insh and within a stones throw of the River Spey it is your perfect Highland getaway. The Post Office Cafe and Gallery is a short walk away and is lovely for a spot of lunch whilst viewing the artwork of local artist Ann Vastano. Loch Insh with its water sports centre is a short 10 min walk from the flat with its Boat House Restaurant and Quarter Deck Bar. The villages only pub is the Suie (soo-ee) which has a very warm and friendly atmosphere. Some other near by attractions which are a short drive away are: Highland Wildlife park 5 min, Cairngorm mountain 25min, Landmark 25min, Loch Morlich 20 mins. Riverside Hideaway is a 10 minute drive to Kingussie or Aviemore, both of which have train stations. Local taxis services are based in Aviemore and Kincraig village has a bus stop 5 minutes walk away. Inverness city is 45 minutes and Inverness airport is 60 minutes drive from Kincraig.
