The cabin was really clean and warm. Everything we needed was provided and we had enough space for us and our small dog. The local area was great and easy to walk to the local pub. There are so many great walks around the cabin and we'd love to...

Communication with Penny great. Accommodation excellent - huge comfy bed. Small but perfect for an overnight stop. Door lock handle broke but there were contact details for onsite maintenance and it was fixed whilst we were at dinner.

Beautiful peaceful setting. The cabin had everything you could need, bed was very comfortable and the hot tub was a welcome treat after long walks. We didn't use the car as there were some great walks from the farm.

Everything! Was worried that the bed was going to be small after reading previous reviews. My partner is 6ft5 and I am 5ft2 and had read reviews that the bed was either too small or too tall but it was perfect and we both had a good nights sleep....

Company info

We are a family of 5, 3 children aged 28, 26 and 14. I am married to Stephen and love to travel. Our old brown labrador called Bertie recently passed away and one our shepherd huts is named after him. We now have a new lab called Digby and our newer hut is named after him. We renovated Brosterfield Farm about 16 years ago and we are always updating and hopefully creating wonderful places for our guests to come and stay and share this amazing part of the Peak District with us. We live at the farm in the farmhouse and apart from an odd holiday, We have small and amazing team that help look after the farm and our properties we manage. Melissa and Nick make sure all our properties are kept to the highest standards and Andy that tirelessly does our grounds. Sue, who has been my trusted friend and has worked at Brosterfield for over 12 years, makes sure all our linen and towels are constantly being processed through with care and attention. We now welcome Aaron and his partner Donna as full time and live in maintenance team if you need any help during your stay. We are a small and dedicated team that love Brosterfield and are passionate about it and all the guests that stay.

There are 3 cabins in total in a curved line. HOT TUB ROBIN'S NEST HAS A HOT TUB - THIS IS A PAYABLE EXTRA - YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE THE HOT TUB TO STAY. It is sixty five pounds for one night and eighty for 2 nights . takes 20 mins to fill & 2 hours to heat. It includes the wood, extra towels and robes. Sixty five pounds for one night and eighty pounds for two nights. The cabins all have a deep filled king size beds. Hidden TV that can be remotely lifted out of the bottom of the bed area. The cabins have been designed and hand built at Brosterfield, Each cabin has a relaxing sofa area which takes in the fanatic views and a good sized kitchen area with a double hob, fridge and combi-microwave oven. The kitchen is fitted out with everything you will need for a stay. The en-suite shower room are a good size with large showers. Brosterfield Farm and the cabins are located just on the edge of Foolow village, which has a fabulous local pub called The Bulls Head. This is only a few minutes walk from the cabin. Things to note:- Robins Nest Glamping Cabin is a one of three cabins in a field. This is a glamping stay and we keep the cabin area with minimal light (outdoor lights on the barn near the parking area for when you arrive and on the outside of the actual cabins) You may wish to bring a torch for the paths. We keep it low light for the glamping experience. This is a glamping cabin and has a hot water thank which provides about 8 mins of permanent hot water and then the tank will heat up again. We are always happy to help if you need advise on the lighting of the hot tub. ‍

Neighborhood info

Foolow is a very picturesque little village in the limestone uplands set around its' duck pond. The fine old buildings grouped around the village green complete with an ancient cross, bull-ring and pond make Foolow one of the prettiest villages in the Peak. The grand Manor House and Old Hall stand away from the humbler, but no less picturesque, cottages. There is a tiny church dedicated to St Hugh and slightly a grander looking Wesleyan Chapel. The local pub which is a 10 min walk from the cabins is an amazing bonus to have on our doorstep with good food and ales!!
