Terry is a retired aerospace engineer after 40 years service across the world. Colleen is a nurse working for the local NHS. We have run Rockleaze House independently since 2001. Terry is an ex rugby player and now an avid sports fan who travels to follow England rugby. He is also a keen builder and DIYer who has spent thousands of hours restoring this beautiful Edwardian property. Colleen is a calm and helpful lady who makes sure your B&B stay is everything you would expect from even a top class hotel. She is responsible for staff and the cleanliness of your room.

Rockleaze House is an elegant Edwardian guest house and family home set within the exciting city of Bristol, which has been rated one of the world’s best cities to live in. A professional nurse and aerospace engineer respectively, they have updated Rockleaze House, making sure its Edwardian period-style features are not only restored, but matched with ultra-modern, and often quirky, features. The guest house features 9 rooms ranging from classic single rooms to superior double rooms. This includes a ground floor double with wheelchair access. Every room comes with free WiFi, free-view or smart TV, a washbasin, either an en-suite or shared bathroom plus croissant, biscuits and hot drinks making facilities. These rooms, spread over three floors consist of 4 ensuite rooms and 5 standard rooms. Those on the second floor offer great views of Bristol, South Gloucestershire and South Wales.

We are in one of Britain’s biggest and most bustling cities, set amid one of the most beautiful regions in the world with rolling green hills, stately homes, nature, sporting activities from The Wave surf-park nearby to football, rugby, and cricket to trampolining, water sports, and even cheese rolling. That’s not all, here’s some of the highlights: Only one mile from our B&B, Wild place Zoo, the Mall at Cribbs Causeway is the region’s largest shopping centre with every major chain imaginable, a full range of restaurants, cinemas and other activities including the largest trampolining park in Europe and home to the world famous Concorde at Aerospace Bristol. Harbour Side - The Matthew, SS Great Britain One of Bristol’s most picturesque areas is the Harbourside which combines museums (M-Shed), art galleries (Arnolfini), an arthouse cinema (Watershed), the Hippodrome theatre, and restaurants. You’ll also find two classic boats The S.S. Great Britain and The Matthew.
