Rose Cottage is a secluded, detached hilltop cottage situated close to the hamlet of Welsh Newton in Herefordshire and the market town of Monmouth in South Wales and can sleep two people in one king-size double bedroom. There is an adjacent bathroom. The rest of the cottage contains an open plan living area with kitchen, dining and sitting area with a woodburner. To the outside of the property there is an external utility, off road parking for two cars and a garden with patio and furniture. Being close to the English/Welsh border, there are ample walks, castles and towns to explore making Rose Cottage ideal for a couple looking for a romantic break away. One well behaved dog welcome. Located at the confluence of 3 rivers – the Wye, the Monnow and the Trothy, it is an excellent base to enjoy river boating, scenic walks and a little shopping too, or to sit and relax on the edge of the river and watch the rowers who regularly race and practise their skills.
