Sandy Paws guest suite is a self contained ensuite king size bedroom with a beautiful balcony overlooking the stunning Portreath little beach and fishing harbour. Perfect for walking or surfing enthusiasts. This comfortable room is literally a stones throw from the main beach and coastal paths and a few minutes walk from several pubs, cafes and restaurants. It has it's own private access via outside stairs to the balcony of the room, these stairs are located at the back of the hosts parking space. There is free on street parking or a paid car park located in the Waterfront Inn next door, which can generate some late night noise but this has not been found to be too intrusive. A small kitchenette provides tea and coffee making facilities, a microwave and mini fridge and basic kitchen essentials for making simple meals if you are so inclined and the village also boasts some very lovely cafes, restaurants, pubs and takeaways. There is a small table and chairs on the balcony for meals and sundowners and two small sunloungers. We can provide a travel cot or small mattress for families of three with a young child. This can make the room a little cosy but we are happy to accomodate if you dont mind the squeeze, but children must be supervised on the balcony at all times.

Portreath is an old Cornish mining and fishing village and boasts a fantastic history. In recent years it has become a wonderful staycation holiday retreat for those wanting to get away from it all and relax and explore the Cornish coastline. Portreath has several pubs, restaurants and cafes as well as beautifully kept village gardens, mining trails and a play park for the kids. There is a village shop, hairdresser and beautician, bakery and deli in the main square. So everything you will need for a fantastic break.
