The living room is next door, where a corner sofa and TV invite you to unwind. The wood-burning stove casts a warm, cozy glow for relaxed evenings. Sandy Toes is located in Sandsend, a stone throw away from the beach and a short 10 minute drive into Whitby. The small fishing village of Sandsend sits at the end of almost three miles of sandy beach, west along the bay from Whitby. Perfect for relaxing stays, you can watch the surfers bob in the distance as you stretch your legs along the shores and soak up the sea air as you feel the sand beneath your toes. You’ll have a selection of restaurants, cafes and a local pub for you to enjoy during your stay. In Whitby you will find an eclectic mix of cosy pubs, and the well renowned Magpie Cafe alongside many other local restaurants, cafes and quality fish and chip shops. There are countless options for those interested in walking in the North York Moors National Park, as the clifftop walks along the coastline are part of the Cleveland Way, and the Lyke Wake Walk finishes in nearby Ravenscar. For the Train enthusiasts out there the town is frequently visited by the steam trains that run from Pickering and offer an enjoyable day out that takes you into history with some lovely quaint villages such as Grosmont along the way that showcase a bygone age and these can be seen from the property.
