School House Hurst is the perfect property for a family or friends getaway. Every room has south facing moorland views in a peaceful wildlife haven of the Yorkshire Dales
My parents bought the house in the early 1970s and my sister and I enjoyed family holidays here growing up. We renovated the house in 2023 with full insulation and central heating and maximised the solar panels efficiency. The house is furnished sustainably using pre-loved items wherever we could.
The neighbourhood is peaceful and beautiful with a view from all bedrooms onto the moor opposite. There is a 1 hour walk to Reeth, the nearest village with a shop and pubs, or a 15 min drive.
