The Selomar offers stunning sea views and is a located a 5-minute walk from Scarborough Castle. Free Wi-Fi is accessible throughout. All rooms at The Selomar are en suite with a shower. Rooms are furnished to a high standard and have a TV, a DVD player and tea/coffee making facilities. The Selomar is a family run buiness and has been owned and managed by The Broadbent family for over 40 years! When we are not working we like going for long walks in and around Scarborough there are some beautiful walks along the coastline and around the Marine drive with beautiful views out to sea. We also love eating out with family and friend’s, Scarborough has soo many lovely restaurants offering a great choice of food and drink.

The Selomar is a beautiful victorian bed and breakfast situated in the picturest north bay and only 5 minute walk to the beach. We have 12 en-suite bedrooms which are all tastefully decorated, with tea and coffee facilities and free WiFi throughout. The sea view rooms overlook the northbay beach and the back rooms overlook the town center and the south bay in the distance. The selomar has a seaview lounge where guests can sit relax and look out to the north bay beach and seaviews. Guests may bring there own drinks to enjoy and use our fridge and glasses while in the seaview lounge. Breakfast is included in the price, and we offer a wide breakfast menu with full English, vegetarian options available which are served to your table with wholemeal or white toast, fresh filter coffee or a pot of hot yorkshire tea, plus a buffet table is available with pastries, fruit, cereal, yogurts and herbal teas etc for guests to help themselves to during breakfast. There are lots of on-street parking infront ofthe Selomar

Neighborhood info

The selomar is situated on the north cliff overlooking the sea and north bay beach. Scarborough Open Air Theatre is only a 5-6 minute walk away, Scarborough castle it is only a 2 minute walk and Peasolm Park only a 10 minute walk. The town centre is about a 10-15 minute walk where there are lots of cafes, bars restaurants and shop. At the top of town you can find Scarboroughs famous Stephen Joseph Theatre. If you fancy fish and chips, an ice cream and a go on the slot machines head to the South Bay beach with its beatuful harbour and amusment arcades, to get there you can either catch a open top bus which run frequently or you can walk there in around 20 minutes. Scarborough famous and popular miniature railway and Sea life center are also just a 10 minute walk away.
