For more information about us, go to our website. Just type in Sheens House and scroll down until you find our digital presence. Sheens House is a mid-Victorian Edinburgh terraced house. We are centrally located in Marchmont. It will take you about 15 minutes to walk to the High Street (the main tourist site) and 20 minutes to get to the Castle Esplanade. We have three "units": a deluxe triple with three single beds, a deluxe double with a double bed and an additional single bed and a family suite, with two rooms, each of which has three single beds. All the units have an ensuite shower or bath room. More information is available on the website. This includes making a booking, recommendations for restaurants and cafés, "things to do" and a series of itineraries that will ensure that you able to see the main attractions in Edinburgh for a short visit.

Neighborhood info

Sciennes (pronounced Sheens) is a quiet, upmarket residential district just off the Meadows. The area has numerous cafés, two local pubs, a supermarket that is open late and three high quality restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The cafes are able to offer a whole range of different types of breakfast from eggs Benedict to porridge, continental to full Scottish.
