Skye Coorie is set in our garden, on the shore, next to the family home. It is a small insulated cabin, right by the sea. Facilities include a cosy sitting-room with dining area, a well equipped kitchen, a separate bedroom with standard European Double bed, with en-suite toilet and shower. The cabin includes FREE WIFI, digital tv with Amazon Firestick & Netflix, it has USB charging sockets throughout. All bedding, towels and a modest welcome pack of essentials are provided. NO SMOKING OR NAKED FLAMES OR FIREWORKS, THANKS. The sitting-room offers shoreline and mountain views from which you can watch the wildlife (we often see otters, seals, deer, local and migrating seabirds.) The cabin sits within our garden, next to our home, so we are on hand if needed. Our guest have their own outdoor seating area with BBQ and fire pit. Please keep in mind, our friendly dog & cats will be quite interested in making friends during your stay. You will also have access to the seashore, and roughly 20 min walk along the shore will take you to a beautiful sandy beach, we can provide beach towels on request.

Hi I am Lauren, We have lived here on Skye for over 5 years, moving here to bring up our wee girl. Now she is older we, as a family, decided to open Skye Coorie, so others can enjoy our spectacular views, cosy cabin and the abundance of wildlife around us. We love meeting folk and really look forward to welcoming people to the cabin. Our guests are welcome to contact us at anytime, both before and during their stay. As the area is a farming/crofting community, with free grazing livestock the use of fireworks is not permitted. The stars outside provide their own natural light show! The local area is fantastic if you want silence, dark skies, geology and nature. Having said that, local amenities are very close by with pubs, restaurants, fuel and shopping in Broadford village. There is a bus stop roughly 15 to 20 mins walk away bus times can be found in the welcome pack. The railway station is on the mainland, in Kyle of Lochalsh, just 7 miles away.
