Unique, individual, bohemian? These are the words to describe this second floor flat. Bright and airy Skylight Loft offers two bed accommodation close to the centre of Bath and only a few minutes walk to the Bath Spa Railway station and a ten minute walk to the Bath Spa itself! As it is the loft, please note there are sloping ceilings everywhere and is not really suitable for tall people. With its quaint single bedroom, complete with snug study area and huge studio style double bedroom/living area, there is plenty of room to relax and entertain after a long day of site seeing. There is bath with a hand held shower attachment . PLEASE NOTE: This is a character-filled building refurbished in a vintage style and is not the "perfect boutique hotel" so many guests desire nowadays. It may not be your cup of tea. The Skylight Loft occupies the entire second floor of a gothic Victorian villa situated on the lower slopes of the Wells Road close to the River Avon and the South entrance into the centre of Bath. Set back from the road, behind an iron gate, this gothic wonder was once a Victorian Schoolhouse. Its owners have lovingly rearranged it into five uniquely decorated apartments.

The Wells Road leads right to the centre of Bath, and our house is located up the hill, just south of the River Avon, so it is an easy stroll into Bath and all the cafes, pubs, excellent restaurants and historic sites, as well as the "Reproduction Georgian" Southgate Shopping Centre, replete with restaurants and shops steps away from the Bath Spa Railway Station.
