Country cottage in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Two bedroom well equipped and furnished cottage. With one double or two single beds or we can configure two doubles by request. Also, possibility of an additional third room at additional rate with en suite by request only. Bathroom with bath and shower. Self contained well equipped kitchen, dining sitting room, smart TV, good internet. Near the River Otter, with working water mill and 2.5miles from Budleigh Salterton Beach. Great hub for exploring Devon with easy access to Beaches Dartmoor or Exeter City. Wildlife haven along River with Wild Beavers Birdlife and other gems, Countryside walks and Seaside delights within a short drive. Lots to do and see in East Devon.
We enjoy living in East Budleigh and welcome guests to our thatched cottage. Here you can indulge in a cream tea from Otterton Mill artisan bakery restaurant, swim in the sea at Budleigh explore the Jurassic Coast from Lyme regis to Budleigh Salterton and Exmouth beach with long sandy beaches. We are here to help you with local knowledge if needed and have some guides to ideas for your adventures or just come and chill out in this beautiful county.
We are not far from seaside towns in several directions. We are in between Sidmouth regency Town and Exmouth. Exeter City is approx 30mins away. Topsham and River Exe are in one direction and Branscombe, Beer, Seaton Lyme Regis fossil hunting and the famous Donkey Sanctuary in the other direction. Bicton Equestrian Arena is a few mins away, we are a convenient location for eventers. Bicton Gardens are also a 5min journey from sleap cottage. Darts Farm is an award winning farm shop 15mins away. Lots of great places to see in East Devon. If you like the outdoors, we have amazing walks, wildlife and beaches, not far away all in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
