Welcome to Spring Cottage our ever so slightly quirky 17th Century cottage B&B! Do send me a message before check in day with and approximate arrival time - I often need to pop out at some point during the day so it's really helpful if I can plan my day around your check in :) Just a few things to think about before booking with us: Check in is any time between 2.30 and 8pm. We love it if guests can give us an approximate arrival time either when booking, or closer to the date if their visit. Unfortunately late evening check in is not possible. Spring Cottage has some narrow steep stairs and sloping floors which may make it unsuitable accommodation for guests with mobility difficulties. Typical of buildings from the late 1600's, our room sizes are smaller than some modern properties. "Compact and cosy" describes them best! Having said that, both our rooms have UK King size beds (5' wide) and have en suite shower rooms. Our garden borders Truck Hill, the road in to Probus village. Occasional passing traffic may be heard. Probus was bi-passed some years ago though, so traffic at night is very minimal. We have two friendly dogs. Spring Cottage is located on the outskirts of the village of Probus. The village is centrally located in Cornwall about 5-6 miles from Truro. Eden and Heligan are easily reached by car as are the north and south coastlines.
