This end-terrace cottage is located in the ancient market town of Bishop’s Castle is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a romantic break. Discretely located behind the Three Tuns pub and Brewery the former stable block provides light and airy accommodation with the bedroom and en-suite downstairs and living area upstairs. Great for walkers with Shropshire Way, Offa;s Dyke and Longmynd all close by. In the evening there are restaurants alongside pubs, breweries and cafes close by.
I only live about 5 minutes away from the property and I am in Bishops Castle most days so if you need any help just let me know. Both myself and my husband have lived in the area all our lives. The key for the property will be located in a key code box and I will email you with directions and the code for the key about 10 days before your stay. We manage the property ourselves, doing all the changeovers to ensure that standards are at the highest level.
Bishops Castle is a beautiful historic town based in the South Shropshire hills close to the Welsh border. It is a town popular with walkers as it has a lot of different walking routes, and then at night it has a variety of eateries and also a reputation for real ale (Bishops Castle has the oldest recorded micro brewery in Britain, The Three Tuns Brewery and our cottage is part of the stable block that belonged to the brewery). In May 2017, Bishops Castle was also nominated by the Sunday Times as one of the best places to live in Britain. The easiest way to travel to get to the cottage is by car. There are buses that travel to Shrewsbury and Ludlow a couple of times a day and at both these places you can get the train. Once at the cottage most people like to do some walks, there are local OS maps and also a number of detailed walks provided.
