Station House was a police station constructed in the 1970's in Troed-y-rhiw and was shut down around 2008. It was fully renevated by MIke Mathews (The best semi skilled labourer I have ever worked with) and myself in 2014.The ground floor is now home to The Peace of cake coffee shop, specialising in Exceedingly good cakes. An additional floor has been added and now serves as a guest accomidation for up to 4 people with off road parking and alarmed storage garage

I am a semi- retired Self-employed building contractor; I have worked most of my adult life in the Merthyr Tydfil valley. For the past 15 years i have specialising in level access shower rooms and ramped accesses for the elderly and the physically impaired

Troedyrhiw is a small quiet village 3 miles outside the town of Merthyr Tydfil There is a local convenience store across the road and 2 chinese take aways, 2 kebab/pizza take aways,1 indian restraunt and 5 puds within 200 yards of the apartment. Bike park wales is a 5 minute drive or a 10 minute bike (up hill) ride away
