You have your own private and quite space to relax. surrounded by Nature .You can explore the beautiful landscape from the doorstep no need to use the car as there are so many wonderful walks each with fantastic views The path leads you through trees and bushes to the secluded cabin. As you open the door you step into a cosy, romantic space, the open plan living room, kitchen, diner is well dressed.Leading off the living room is a spacious double bedroom with double aspect windows. The kitchen is compact but has all the essentials you need for preparing full meals , the appliances consist of combined microwave /oven and 2 electric hobs .The bathroom has shower , hand basin and WC.

Nestled between Ambleside( 8minutes drive from the property) ,Hawkshead(6 minutes drive from the property) and Coniston(8 minutes drive from the property) and only 18 minutes away by car from Windermere. High Grassings country house stands in an elevated position set in 12 acres of wooded fell side. Our extensive grounds are inhabited by a variety of wild life including red deer, roe deer, red squirrel and a multitude of songbirds.We also have have ponds and streams, which makes this one of the most tranquil settings in the Lake District. We are within walking distance to Hawkshead Village where there are a selection of shops and eateries. Also within easy walking distance (15 mins) is the popular local Inn, The Drunken Duck which has a fantastic restaurant and even has its own micro brewery. Tarn Hows (once owned by Beatrix Potter) is on our doorstep you can walk around the lake and take in the amazing views of the surrounding mountains Old Man of Coniston, Langdale Pikes and Fairfield to name a few is also on the doorstep and within walking distance. There are plenty of other walks you can do from the house so you don't have to use the car.
