The Cabin was our family home for almost five years. A space that has been a sanctuary for our family and friends we are now so proud to be able to open out to guests to enjoy a holiday with us on the farm. Our homely log cabin retreat is nestled on the edge of the picturesque South Downs National Park, in the charming village of Westbourne. Located a five minuet walk from the village, you also have great links to the city of Chichester and Portsmouth, both a 20 -minute drive from the farm. As you step into our rustic yet refined haven, you'll instantly be embraced by the beauty of the surrounding twenty four acre property. Our cabin reflects out British and Nigerian heritage where home is more than a building but how it makes you feel. This is our version of a UK safari lodge with alpacas on your doorstep. We also have a Shepherds hut you can book on site which would allow up to 8 people to stay comfortably. This is an extra charge and can be found on site or arranged through us. There's an abundance of experiences awaiting you during your stay at Our Back Garden, whether you're here for a brief moment or an extended retreat. Just 8 miles from Goodwood race course and some beautiful vineyards on our doorstep. Beaches line our section of the south with plenty of seaside towns to compliment your adventures. Our Back Garden is in the heart of Westbourne village and if you just want to take it slow and relax Westbourne offers three pubs, a Fish and Chips shop, a Co-op and The Spice Cottage curry house. While The Alpacas Café offers delightful snacks, a short drive will lead you to some fantastic dining spots we highly recommend. Just a stone's throw away, Emsworth Town awaits, a historic fishing harbor renowned for its oyster farming and rich heritage. Wander through the charming streets adorned with local businesses, each offering a tempting array of food and drink. Don't miss our personal favourites, JJ’s and The Lord Raglan and the Crown, where you can savour delicious meals while soaking in the sea breeze and witnessing sunsets over the mill pond. If outdoor adventures beckon, a short drive from our gate will lead you to the stunning landscapes of South Downs National Park. Explore countless trails suitable for all ages and abilities.
