As you would have seen we are a working farm with animals and lots of outdoors so being Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 you may require wellies, I do some so if you would like to borrow some let me know before and hopefully I will be able to help? The Usk Valley Trail can be joined i our field, direct access onto the Bryn Hill with Fantastic views of Llangors Lake, Brecon and our biggest mountain Pen-y-Fan can be enjoyed. Mountain Bike trails regional trails start 200 yards away. The Taff Trail starts about 5 minutes by bike. The Brecon to Monmouthshire Canal is in Walking distance where you can walk, cycle or just enjoy the boats and ducks. Blyn-y-Glyn waterfalls are about 10 minutes by car passing the spectacular Talybont-on-Usk Reservoir. The village has 3 pubs, a cafe, bike & boat hire, shop, post office &Bike Hub, Dog friendly cottage, cottage, Walks and mountain Biking from the door. The Usk Valley Trail & Bryn Hill with Fantastic Walks, Mountain Bike trails from door Get involved in farm life during your stay, helping out with the goats and horses, or just settle down in a serene setting for idle hours on site by day and stargazing – barbecues and campfires are both allowed here. Off site, this is a popular place for hill walking, and town sightseeing is easily accessible at nearby Abergavenny, Hay-on-Wye and Crickhowell.
