The Blue Loft is a serene, thoughtfully designed double room with a private en-suite shower room. Perched at the top of a characterful 18th-century building that once served Anstruther’s seafarers, the loft has been lovingly converted by Tatiana and Robert into a cosy retreat full of light and calm. The space offers privacy, peace, and inspiring views, making it perfect for a romantic escape or a quiet solo recharge. Please note: the loft does NOT include kitchen/laundry facilities, but a refreshment area with a fridge, kettle, tea and coffee. Access & important info:
 Guests enter through the main front door, which is shared with us (your hosts), and access the loft via a series of old, sometimes narrow and uneven stairs typical of historic buildings of this age. Inside the loft, to move between the bedroom and bathroom, guests will need to duck slightly under a low ceiling beam — all visible in the photos. While we've taken every step to ensure the space is safe and comfortable, the layout may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. We are located in the heart of the Anstruther's Harbour, 5-15 min away from the other coastal villages and St Andrews. Coastal path, beaches and plenty of restaurants and cafes are 2-5 min walking distance. Other things to note: Parking is available right in front of the property. Please note it’s paid from April to September 8am-6pm, so just check the signs when you arrive. Additionally, there’s free parking available around the Waid campus (Approx. 5 min walk) and off the main Shore street.
