Our first time staying at The Bank. the staff were welcoming and attentive. Our room 6 was wonderful. Huge bedroom with a very comfortable bed. Had a great sleep. Loved the little lounge facing out to the sea. Our meal at the restaurant was delicious and again the staff were great. We will certainly come back again and recommend to our family and friends.

Property was gorgeous very tastefully done out, great location with lovely views from windows, bed very comfortable, everything in property that we needed, no kitchen but has kettle and small fridge, plenty of places to eat on our doorstep, owner Tatiana was on hand if we needed any advise, would certainly make a return visit and recommend property to others.

Charming and scenic little town with a bustling harbor, good restaurants and a nice array of shops to stroll in the harbor. The boats to Isle of May leave from here daily as well, with ample convenient parking near the harbor.

Town was a lovely and vibrant harbor with a range of restaurants, ice cream spots and park benches to take in the harbor. Great stopover while hiking the Fife Coastal Path between St Andrews and Elie.

Good location for getting buses along the coast and then walking the coastal path back to Anstruther. Fishery museum good for a few hours, especially if it is raining. The local co-op is good for those who are self catering. A good base for exploring the area - St Andrews is easy to get to by can along quiet roads (we went InJune)

Anstruther is a pretty , historic town by the sea in the East Neuk of Fife. It has a variety of shops and some excellent restaurants, including award-winning fish and chip shops. It is very close to St. Andrews - with its history -and not too far from Dundee which now boasts the V and A.

Anstruther has so much to offer from quaint shops to lovely cafes, restaurants and bars. The waterfront restaurant is particularly good value and lovely friendly staff. There is a lovely wine bar called Bread and bottles which serves beautiful wines, Portuguese ones very nice and the guy is very knowledgeable. From Anstruther you can do parts of the Costal path walk to Pitenweem. or the other direction to Crail. The harbour is a busy working harbour, where you can watch the boats coming or going or take a boat trip to the Isle of May. There is a great bus service from Anstruther to St Andrews or just hop off and explore other beautiful villages like Pitenween, Crail, and St monans . If you like dipping there is a fantastic tidal pool at Cellerdyke , 5 minutes drive from the town. It has a lovely vibe with a wood fired sauna, coffee cabin and a place selling pizza.

Anstruther is what you'd expect from a small coastal village. Not a lot in the way of places for eating in the evening. We were there over a holiday weekend and couldn't get in anywhere due to lots of visitors plus amazing weather!! Ended up with fish suppers being eating in our car! Several fish takeaways on the main road all with huge queues outside them. But when we finally got ours and git it back to our car it was very hot & tasted lovely!! I would say Anstruther is a lovely, typical coastal village and worth a look at on your travels. 😊😊

The location, just a stone throw from the tidal pool and Anstruther....easy access to buses to Elie, Crail etc.👍 The kitchen space was excellent and the log burner, BBQ and outside space were added extras. And I must mention the bed, it was huge! All in all a great property, a very friendly host in a lovely location. 👍👍

Cute authentic cottage, clean, lots of room and good kitchen facilities. Take advantage of offers by the owner to pre-order local food for your stay. (There's a co-op nearby otherwise) Some good cafes in Anstruther you can walk to. Our winter stay made for great coastal walking, viewing moody skies and great sunrises!
