The Bothy is a quiet two bedroomed cottage set within two acres of communal grounds just a few minutes walk to Lyndhurst's busting high street in one direction and the open forest of Bolton's Bench in the other.
The Bothy is ideal for couples, or a couple, plus an additional guest, the master bedroom is equipped with a U.K. king sized bed (five foot bed) and the second bedroom has a 4'6" bed.
The bathroom has a bath with shower over, the kitchen/lounge/diner is equipped with an integrated, hob, oven, dishwasher & fridge freezer & a microwave for your convenience.
There is parking immediately outside the front door & additional parking in the gardens for two cars.
Lyndhurst has a fine selection of restaurants, public houses & an excellent hotel.
During the main season two tour busses operate from Lyndhurst car park, there is also a good bus service throughout the year connecting with Southampton & Lymington across the new Forest.
John & Stephanie live a short drive from The Bothy & have a deep love for The New Forest.
We do all we can to ensure The Bothy is well maintained & improved over the years to provide a warm, comfortable environment.
We lived in Lyndhurst for many years, know The Bothy neighbours well.
Lyndhurst is the capital of the New Forest with a fine selection of shops, cafe's and restaurants, the stunning New Forest is literally all around just waiting to be discovered.
Lyndhurst has a museum explaining the history of The New Forest & is surrounded by glorious woodland and heathland, The Beaulieu motor museum is a joy to visit, Bucklers Hard, Exbury Gardens & Furzey Gardens also being a short drive away.
