The cottage was cosy and everything I could want for a solo stay with work. The bathroom is fabulous, the cottage roasting and the bed very very comfortable. Close enough for travelling each day to Kelso for work.

Perfect for the 2 of us and our dog. Great little back yard as well that is a sun trap from mid afternoon until sunset. It was even nice and cool inside the cottage when the outside was hot. Shower is fab and good size bathroom.

A quiet, cosy bolthole and comfortable base to explore the Scottish Borders and North Northumberland. Nestled away in the beautiful conservation village of Morebattle, The Burrow is well equipped, one bedroom, one bathroom mid terrace home full of history and character. Suitable for two guests, plus two dogs. Situated in a peaceful, rural village location, The Burrow benefits from being next-door to the community village shop and garden, as well as a minute's walk to the local butchers and a short stroll to the village pub/restaurant.
The Burrow is well situated to access and explore the Scottish Borders, North Northumberland and the Northumberland coast. The historic village of Morebattle dates back to at least the Iron Age, and set in remote upland countryside 8 miles north-east of Jedburgh, 6 miles south-east of Kelso and 3½ miles south-west of Town Yetholm. Whilst situated rurally, the village contains a community shop and garden, butchers and restaurant all within a short walking distance of The Burrow. A local petrol station can be found in Town Yetholm and an excellent pub/restaurant in Kirk Yetholm. 10 minutes to Kelso | 15 minutes to Jedburgh | 35 minutes to Galashiels | 50 minutes to Lindisfarne | 1 hour to Alnwick, Bamburgh and the Northumberland Coast | 1 hour 15 minutes to Edinburgh
