Sutton Poyntz is a pretty village on the northern side of Preston, Weymouth, Sitting beneath the George III chalk horse that is carved into the hillside. At the centre of the village sits a beautiful duck pond, and the Spring head pub, where you can enjoy a drink in the pub gardens whilst admiring the chalk horse carving. Just 3.5 miles from Weymouth and it’s golden sandy beach, lanes of boutique shops, sea life centre and historic harbour this is a perfect village base for exploring the Jurassic Coast.
