The Croft is a country cottage based in the Blackdown Hills AONB on the Devon/Somerset border. The Croft sleeps up to 4 people on two bedrooms and we welcome up to two well behaved dogs. There is an open plan living area with log burner and access to a courtyard with outdoor furniture and BBQ. The bathroom is fitted with a large walk in shower. There is also a separate, fully enclosed garden. The cottage is all on one level (there are two steps into front door), offers beautiful views across the surrounding countryside, yet is in easy traveling distance of Taunton, Honiton, the East Devon coast & beyond. The cottage has Wi-Fi and one off-road parking space directly beside it. We welcoma a maximum of two dogs, no cats.
Hi! I live next door in the farmhouse with my husband Rob, our children and our two friendly spaniels. I am on hand to help where I can. The cottage is on our family farm and you can quite often see our Black Welsh Mountain sheep grazing in the field next door.
The cottage is located in the Blackdown Hills AONB, just a short distance from the Devon/Somerset border. The area is beautiful and provides a great place for country walks or bike rides. The Otterhead Local Nature Reserve is on our doorstep. We have some lovely country pubs within a coule of miles. The cottage is based mid-way between the towns of Taunton and Honiton. It is within easy reach of the East-Devon coast, plus many attractions, including three National Trust houses. The cottage provides the perfect base to explore the surrounding countryside and beyond. The M5 is 10 miles away and the A303 is less than three miles away.
