Beautifully furnished, spacious ancient dovecote in a gorgeous peaceful countryside setting, the thick stone walls make it warm and cosy in winter and cool in summer as well as quiet and private. All new heated private swimming pool available May to September. Upstairs there is a luxurious super kingsize bed, a rolltop bath, a huge velvet sofa and a 50 inch TV and downstairs is a shower room, kitchen and large dining area. Lovely walks from the door and close to Salisbury, Longleat, Stonehenge and Bath
I am an Alexander Technique teacher and I enjoy carriage driving with my horses. I was born in Wiltshire, on a farm just 4 miles from here and we have lived here for 30 years.
The dovecote is set in beautiful countryside with many lovely walks straight from the door. There are fascinating places to visit with Salisbury and its stunning cathedral just a 20 minute drive away, as is Stonehenge. Tisbury and the amazing Messums Gallery and Wardour Castle are 10 minutes away, the Fovant Badges are 5 minutes away. Bath is just 30 miles. There are fantastic country pubs and restaurants with delicious food such as the Beckford Arms and the Compasses near Tisbury, the King John at Tollard Royal and the Grosvenor in Hindon. There is the spectacular Rushmore Golf Club set in the most beautiful parkland, punting on the Avon, horse racing and go-karting at Salisbury and Thruxton race track is a half hour drive away.
