Nestled amid rolling hills in the beautiful Welsh countryside, this contemporary hotel and golf course is located on the spectacular Gower Peninsula, just minutes away from Swansea and the M4. Once a successful dairy farm, Gower Golf Club has been completely renovated and extended to provide an 18-hole golf course and 4-star guest accommodations set in 2 barn conversions. All rooms have a private entrance. A casual bar food menu is on offer daily, while a dinner menu can be arranged on request. The golf course was designed by Donald Steel and has been made to utilize every challenging aspect of the rolling countryside on which it is set. Practice areas and tuition from a P.G.A professional are available. Preferential rate are available for golf.

Gower Golf Club opened in the mid nineties as a 9-hole golf club converting from farmland. THe great golf course was the basis for expansion into functions, weddings and holiday accommodation. In addition to stay-overs for golf and functions, it has proved to be a great base for visitors to Gower. Its been a little quiet since the pandemic but we still offer great value stayovers..and the appeal of Gower never wanes...

Gower Golf Club offers a great practical base for visitors to Gower or West Swansea. We are just a few miles from J47 of M4 but offering easy access to lovely beaches and walks of Gower Peninsula or into the urban environment of Mumbles and Swansea. Our rooms have independant access so you can come and go at your convenience. All rooms are en-suite with mostly showers and offer tea/coffee facilities. Our quiet environment and comfy beds will ensure a decent nights sleep so dont forget to set an alarm if your on a deadline! Breakfast and dinner are available with prior notification.

Gower Golf Club is in a prime position to access the area West of Swansea. The city centre is 7 miles The M4 is 4 miles to Junction 47 and we have clear roads to the entire Gower Peninsula. Beaches such as Llangennith Rhossili Slade Oxwich Port Eynon Horton Pwll Du Caswell and Langland.are easy reach and all the associated walks, water sports and scenery. The Gower coastal path passes within 2 miles in 2 places- ideal for cycling and walking with the railway station at Gowerton just 1.5 miles away. From there you can acces the entire Mid-Wales railway, Cardiff and Tenby.
