We loved the remote location of the property. Perfect for our trip down with homely comforts that a hotel couldn't provide. Clean and well presented property. Loved that this was an old granary!

Great location. Perfect space for a couple. Would say it may be cramped for any more than 2 people. Facilities great. Smart TV with all streaming services available to log into.

A unique studio apartment set in the grounds of this beautiful manor house. Incredible views over the original kitchen garden of this wonderful property. Perfect for couples wanting a small, quiet hideaway retreat. Ideal for walkers and cyclists and surfers alike. Just a few miles away from the wonderful beaches of Saunton sands, Croyde Bay and Woolacombe Beach. A ten minute walk into Braunton village which has some great bars and restaurants; something for all tastes and budgets. The studio has a separate mezzanine bed area with a super comfy double mattress. There is also a sofa bed in the studio itself if climbing the stairs is not an option. The sofa bed can also be used to accommodate extra guests if needed. There is a small garden for the exclusive use of the guests with garden furniture and a useful washing line for hanging out your wet suits. Parking is directly outside the house. The guests are not permitted however to roam freely around the grounds as they are private to the family and we thank you for your consideration in respecting their privacy. There is a footpath which runs directly adjacent to the Granary and perfect for starting your walk.

We are within 10 minutes drive of some of North Devon's best beaches and a twenty minute drive to Exmoor and the stunning surrounding countryside. There is a wealth of places to visit and heritage sites on our doorstep from Clovelly; ancient fishing village, to Hartland Abbey and gardens. Ilfracombe and the Victorian tunnels beaches and Damien Hirst's Verity statue which dominates the harbour skyline. For the avid walkers out there, the south west coast path and Tarka Trail can be followed easily from The Granary for miles of incredible coastal views in both directions. If you want further information on other local attractions we will leave lots of information for you in the property to peruse at your leisure. There is also a tourist information centre in Barnstaple which can help you further if you so wish.
