The Ivy Cottage is a first floor barn conversion set close to Kirk Ireton in Derbyshire. It has two bedrooms comprising of a king size and a single, there is also a single sofabed in the sitting room, there is a shower room and the cottage can sleep three or four people. Also inside there is an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area. To the outside there is ample off road parking, The Ivy Barn is a stunning cottage in an excellent rural location with walks and cycle routes in the area. This property does not have its own garden.

Kirk Ireton is a village in the Derbyshire countryside on the borders of the Peak District National Park, 4 miles from Wirksworth. Kirk Ireton is made up of sandstone buildings, many date back to the 17th century, the oldest of which is the pub. Kirk Ireton is home to a Norman church and the village is perfect for a stroll around and soaking up the history. Nearby Wirksworth is a town on the edge of the White Peak, full of character with buildings of architectural interest including a church. Visitors will enjoy exploring the ancient jitties and courtyards, and the National Stone Centre, as well as the countryside including Carsington Water and the High Peak Trail. Rock climbing and cycling can be enjoyed herel, there is good walking. Well Dressing is unique to Derbyshire, and Wirksworth combines this tradition with a lively carnival.
