Camber is a small, laid-back seaside village with one truly spectacular stretch of sandy beach — Camber Sands — just a 5-minute walk from the property. The area is known for its grassy dunes, big skies and salty sea air, with water sports and activities available nearby. The village has a great local pub and a wonderful restaurant that punches well above its weight. Evenings are quiet and peaceful — the soundtrack here is wind and waves rather than traffic. If calm, cosy and coastal is your idea of heaven, Camber is perfect. London Gatwick Airport is approximately 109 km away. Ashford International Train Station is around 33 km, and Folkestone Central Railway Station is 48 km.
