Hello, my name is Maxine I bought this lovely guest house in 2022 January. I will welcome you into my home. A home full of curiosities all with stories. This is a quirky house. Great location. Licensed bar. Sun terrace over looking a working harbor and a beach 2 minutes from the front door. A memorable stay will be had by ALL

Property info

The Ocean Guest House is an old Georgian Property in an amazing location having the advantage of the front being a stone's throw from the wonderful safe sandy beach and backing onto the harbour. As an old Georgian property, the ensuite facilities and rooms are not the largest but they all have the benefit of views from every room. We have terrace which overlooks the harbor where, if the sun is shining, you can enjoy your breakfast or enjoy a glass of wine to watch the boats coming in and out of the harbour. I pride myself on my friendly, home from home guest house where nothing is too much trouble for our guests. Breakfasts are made to order, I try to accommodate everyone's tastes, so let us know if there is something extra you would like on your breakfast!

Weymouth is like home for me Everything is within walking distance, so no car is required. The are many pubs and restaurants with something to suit everyone including the obligatory fish and chip shops. Sit and enjoy a drink whilst people crabbing off the harbour wall. Walk to Nothe gardens and explore the old fort, take a fishing trip to catch mackerel, take the local bus to the ancient town of Dorchester or to nearby Bridport, West Bay or even Poole. Visit Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and Chesil Beach, all wonderful on the beautiful Dorset coast. Don't forget Portland Bill. So much to do and see that you will find one visit not enough!
