Converted Old watermill and barn conversion alongside a stream with waterfall, pond and wildlife. Just 10 minutes walk into our picturesque village Ideal location for touring West Country and South West England.
We bought Gurney Manor Mill and The Old Carthouse in 1993 to renovate moving from Oxfordshire in 1997. We started B&B in 2000 and then renovated The Old Carthouse for Holiday Let in 2009.
Somerset is full of interesting places. We are at the gateway to the Quantock Hills and the Sea and Exmoor. Kilve Jurassic fossil beach, St Audries Bay, Blue Anchor Bay, Watchet Harbour, Dunster Beach, Minehead. Dunster Medieval Village, Cleeve Abbey, Porlock Village and Weir Glastonbury Abbey, Wells Cathedral and Bishops Palace, Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge and Caves Clarks Village 1/2 price Designer Outlet and Taunton, Somerset Museum. Many National Trust properties. and Selworthy Village Weston Super Mare, Burnham and Brean Sands. Our village of Cannnington has 5 pubs four of which serve food, food shops, hairdressers and flower/hardware shop
