Originally working in the Automotive industry, we decided to relocate to Dorset to fulfill an ambitious lifestyle change.

Property info

The Old Mill was originally built around 1750 and was operational until the 1930's, when like many others it ceased operating as a Mill. Originally a flour mill, but the turn of the century it was being used to saw wood.

Neighborhood info

Dorset has an abundance of interesting activities and sights to suit all tastes. We are lucky enough to have the Jurassic coast about 40 mins away and gorgeous Blue flagged sandy beaches and Bournemouth and Weymouth. Closer to home, and for many of our visitors we are ideally located for both Monkey World and The Tank Museum both in Bovington. In our village, Bere Regis, we have two pubs, a shop and a post office to meet the needs of our guests. There is also our Church, St John the Baptist, which is well worth a visit just to see the lovely wooden carvings of the 12 apostles in the roof dating from 1485
