A charming 1-bed miner’s cottage (sleeps 2–3) set in a valley beneath oak forest, with a patio and steep, rocky garden leading straight into the woods. Ideal for remote work (reliable Starlink Wi-Fi) The house includes a fully equipped kitchen with cookware, a separate study room, and a compact bedroom featuring a king-size bed plus a single sofa bed in the living room for an additional guest.

Hi, we are: Bea and Michael, your hosts! I and my husband live nearby and love welcoming guests to our beautiful valley. If you’d like to unwind after a long day of exploring or climbing, I offer professional massage sessions, and Michael can provide expert support with mobility issues. Our warm, welcoming neighbours are one of the area’s greatest perks! The house is a gateway for exploring local nature trails, the Brecon Beacons, Waterfall Country, Big Pit, national Showcaves centre, the climbing centre, and mountain motorbiking routes. You can enjoy splashing in the village own waterfall just 15 minutes by feet. The village’s history features sites dating back to the ancient Romans, and until just 50 years ago, the entire area was blackened and dusty from coal mining. The local lake, cafe and park are what was formerly a large colliery.
