Within walking distance is the Kent and East Sussex Vintage Steam Railway which chugs its way through 10½ miles of beautiful countryside, enabling you to visit Tenterden, also known as ‘The Jewel of the Weald’, and once another thriving Cinque Port town but now 10 miles from the sea.
