Despite the remote location of the cottage their is a lovely oub located across the road that serves delicious food and a lovely hotel situated on Loch Awe that is withing walking distance. Surrounded by beautiful walks and wildlife this is the perfect spot to relax and unwind and a great base to explore surround ing areas such as Oban and the Islands, Glencoe, Fort Willliam and Loch Lomond. Kilchrenan is a quiet village with a lovely community of locals, the village is small but does have a lovely gastro pub, The Kilchrenan Inn and two lovely hotels located on the banks of Loch Awe. Although Kilchrenan is a remote location it is located very close to Oban and some of the most beautiful parts of Scotland which makes it a great base for exploring.
