Perfect stop between towns we were traveling. Comfortable beds, excellent food at the restaurant. Owner operated and a very hands on owner, made you feel like you were staying at more than just a hotel. Beautiful facilities.

Breakfast was delicious. Cold starters (yogurt with fruit) and pastries on buffet table then hot breakfast to order. Live entertainment in the bar on Friday was fabulous. Dinner was delicious and then we stayed to watch Starsky perform until the bar closed.

Breakfast was great! Setting and rooms out of a movie gorgeous! Sayward our concierge was exceptional in every respect and we enjoyed role playing in their first mystery dinner. Dinner was elegant and Paul and his wife, owners, deserve a round of applause for their warmth and hospitality!

Unforgettable Experience at Promenade 17, Oban! From the very moment of our arrival, the warm welcome and outstanding hospitality made us feel right at home. The hotel boasts elegantly designed interiors that exude both style and comfort. We couldn't resist the SPAGHETTI ALLO SCOGLIO at the dining room during our three-day visit - a culinary masterpiece brimming with Langoustine, Mussels, Squid, and Clams in a tantalizing White Wine Garlic Chili Sauce. Each breakfast was a treat to start the day. The hotel staff's relentless efforts to ensure guests feel valued were apparent throughout. A visit to Oban? Make sure Promenade 17 is on your itinerary for both accommodation and dining

views to die for/lovely home cooked breakfast and good choice/umbrellas and wellies provided for bad weather which is a very nice touch/friendly helpful staff. We didn't like disrepair in all areas of the building, and distance from main road to hotel - challenging. but an excellent holiday thoroughly enjoyed. Oban is a beautiful place to visit and many amenieties there with only about a 30 minute car drive away. Botanical gardens excellent to. All car parks cheap

Great location. Hotel upgraded us to a loch view. Breakfast was super. Views from hotel fabulous. Staff were outstanding in all areas. Good selection of drinks at bar. Evening fire pits a great added bonus.

Jordan and Jane at Ardanaseig Hotel were excellent hosts. They were very knowledgeable about the area, the food and where it was sourced. Nothing was too much bother for them. Chef was wonderfully creative in the kitchen and produced a carefully planned menu of excellent food.

Everyone working there were professional and friendly. The hotel was spotless and showed the benefits of a recent refurb. We ate in the hotel the first night and the food was of a very high standard. Our room was in the newer wing (Room Fyne).. there are four rooms in a line with wonderful views over the loch... and I believe these rooms are slightly bigger than those in the older wing. The rooms, restaurant, bar and lounge were spotless. We had a minor issue with plumbing (the shower temp was cool), were told that they had reduced the water pressure to our room and that would be remedied asap. There is a full size snooker table in its own lounge that we may use the next time. On our next night and at the suggestion of the hotel manager, we ate at the Kilchrenan Inn ( 5 mins drive from the hotel; you have to book as it is very popular). They just don't now how good they are. It was one of the nicest meals we have every had in Scotland. We could have chosen every option as the menu was so varied! All in all, a huge surprise and an excellent stay at the Taychreggan hotel. Many thanks.

Not much, A very old and tired building / hotel….. in years gone by I believe it would have been a lovely and amazing hotel but I’m afraid that it’s very tired, old and almost like an old spooky mansion in a hammer house of horrors movie or a murder mystery weekend away.

The emplacement, waouh!!! A beautiful castle lost in nature with a wonderfull garden, an incredible view on the loch. That place diserve every miles done. My friend and I was in a fairy tale in that hotel The room great, the bed so comfy The food was excellent

Second time staying here. It's such a nice hotel, we were given an upgrade to a loch view which was lovely as the views were amazing! Dinner in the restaurant was lovely and the staff were very helpful
