The Roaches is a completely detached 3 bedroom holiday home, which comes with its own extra large, private garden which can be used for outdoor games, al fresco dining or just to sit reading a book or sunbathing (weather permitting). The Roaches comes equipped with most things that a group or family of 6 would need whist visiting the area, including plenty of crockery, glasses and a dishwasher so no need for a pot washer whist on your holiday. We've tried to give it a homely feel with comfy couches and beds but with all the mod cons you would expect.

Christine & Dean bought Blackshaw Grange holiday lets in September 2023 having moved from Manchester. It has been our first venture into holiday letting in the UK but we have loved meeting guests from all the over world and from the UK who are visiting the Peak District for the fabulous walking, scenery or just to spend the day at Alton Park

We are situated 2 miles from the market town of Leek with it's abundance of great pubs and restaurants and it's indoor & outdoor markets which are held 3 times a week. We are also within walking distance to the Roaches, with it's magnificent soaring rock face, it is ideal for rock climbers or just for enthusiastic walkers, it will not disappoint. Many of our guests stay with us whilst visiting Alton Towers but don't forget all the other attractions nearby, including Peak Wildlife Park (it has polar bears) and Tittlesworth Reservoir for watersports
