The ‘Rowanberry Suite’ is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Located in the rural village of Glasnakille, Isle of Skye, you have breathtaking views out to sea overlooking the Sleat peninsula. Glasnakille is roughly 17 miles from the nearest town called Broadford -Broadford has a co-op supermarket and fuel station. Keep this in mind before you arrive, as that will be the last one. Elgol only has a small shop with slightly more than basic necessities. Prepare for a winding single track road which will take approx 30mins from Broadford. The views enroute are simply breathtaking - that being said please make sure to use your mirrors and let any traffic from behind pass you to ensure you can fully appreciate the scenery without holding up any locals! Glasnakille is home to the famous Spar Cave, only a short walk from your suite. Please note that the cave is only accessible during low tides. From Elgol there are boat trips in which you can visit ‘Loch Coruisk’, which has been referred to as one of the Seven Wonders of Scotland. Elgol has a small village shop which sells basic necessities and beautiful crafts, many of which are created by local artists.

The suite is a short walk away from the world famous Spar Cave. The village is very rural so expect a 17 mile single track road from Broadford. It is a very scenic journey boasting views of Blabheinn and the cuillin hills. Elgol is only 2 miles from the property where boat trips can be taken to Loch Coruisk or neighbouring small isles. Loch Coruisk is now considered one of the seven wonders of Scotland. The property sits on the Skye Trail, which is a walk which shows off the best of Skye.
