There has been a pub on the site of the Ship in Dock Inn since the 17th Century, and the current building dates back to 1871 since when it has been a favourite among locals and visitors, and most especially the Royal Navy whose cadets all train at Britannia Royal Naval College (BRNC). Our 4 guests rooms are all en-suite and have luxurious King Size beds with double sprung mattresses, which we hope guarantee a good nights sleep. Three bedrooms have bath and showers, and one room has a shower cubicle. The bedrooms all look over Coronation Park and the River Dart. The Kingswear to Paignton steam train can also be seen Breakfast is obviously included and we offer a full range from a hearty full English breakfast to lighter options. The pub alongside the bed & breakfast has an intimate bar where you will be warmly welcomed. We look forward to welcoming you, and please do not hesitate to contact us for information on things to see & do in the area, or for help with booking places to eat. Please note that on all days check in is from 4pm, early check can be available on request but is not guaranteed.Check out is strictly 10:30 and we are unable to offer a late check out.
