Very friendly hosts (with whom we happened to have a common interest!) who got the balance exactly right! We really enjoyed our three nights at The Stable, exploring a new area of the country. Thank you, Linda and Mick!

We live right next door to the property. I am an artist and both myself and my husband enjoy gardening and travelling both here in the UK and around the world.
We are in a quiet Lane surrounded by fields and yet close to all the amenities of shops, good pubs and food outlets. (All within walking distance) The Black Country in general is a very friendly area, which many of our guests do comment on. Alongside the property is an old roman path which leads down to the lovely Staffordshire/Worcestershire canal with its native water birds and quirky canal boats. In the area, just within half an hour , we have the Black Country Museum home to the Peaky Blinders and in the other direction we have the beautiful Severn Valley with the river and of course the famous Severn Valley Railway. Halfpenny Green Vineyards are around 15 minutes by car and for keen gardeners we are just 45 minutes from the home of David Austin Roses.
